Cannot believe that January is almost over. Of course you also cannot tell that it is winter around here anymore. And just as I say that the weather will change once again. It feels more like late spring here. The weeds are beginning to sprout, and I have actually seen little flowers blooming already. I was hoping for some more cold weather. At least a chill or frost in the air would be nice."Don't get tired of doing what is good. Don't get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time." Galatians 6:9
Nature looks dead in winter because her
life is gathered into her heart.
She withers the plant down to the root
that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger.
She calls her family together
within her inmost home to prepare them
for being scattered abroad
upon the face of the earth.
