A Purple Morning

Flower petals shimmer in the sunlight like sparkling amethyst. They glisten with indigo hues like delicate, soft feathers reaching for the sun. Butterflies and bees drink their plum nectar. The faint humming swirls with dizziness through the violet strands. A breeze softly blows, and tiny amethyst blossoms shimmer in the sunlight alone once again.

"In the garden I tend to drop my thoughts here and there.
To flowers I whisper secrets I keep and the hopes I breathe.
I know they are there to eavesdrop for the angels."
~Dodinsky
