Day 31...

Perspective is all about how we choose to see things.

Day 30...

To everything there is a season,

a time for every purpose under heaven...

a time to plant, 

and a time to pluck what is planted...

a time to break down,

Day 29...

Day 28...

Hope...Courage...Faith...Strength

God has called you to be a woman who rejoices in Him. 

You can rejoice because He watches over your life and takes care of you. 

You can rejoice because He is the Peace within you, 

the Covering over you, the Shelter around you, 

the Guard behind you, and the Guide who goes before you.

Day 25...

The Joy of the Lord is Your Strength

I was reading through my daily devotional today. Everyday Joy for your spiritual refreshment each day finds the simple joy in life no matter 

what the circumstance and today was no different.

"This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, 

for the joy of the Lord is your strength." ~Nehemiah 8:10

Is it possible to have joy in the middle of catastrophic circumstances? What if you're facing the loss of a job? A devastating illness? The death of a loved one? 

Can you really look beyond your grief to find the joy? 

Our very strength comes from the joy God places inside us, 

and we need that strength even more 

when we're facing seemingly impossible odds!

Day 21...

Day 20...

What a beautiful week of Faith! Have you ever faced a truly impossible situation? One so extreme that, unless God moved, everything else would surely crumble? God is a God of the impossible. And He wants us to ask, even when we're facing insurmountable obstacles. In fact, He wants us to know that only He can perform miracles. Our job? We're called to trust Him. Have Faith. 31 Days of Pink: Day 19

Day 19...

I was thinking of and praying for friends today. My friend Cheri finished chemo last month and is now undergoing radiation treatments. Some of the radiation is causing her leg muscles to be weakened. It has been an exhausting road, but she is always smiling. This too shall pass. "So then, just as you receive Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." ~Colossians 2:6-7

Your life can be a testimony that inspires others to climb the heights of God's love, that encourages others to explore the depths of His love, and that stirs the hearts of others to embrace the goodness of His love. ~Roy Lessin

This is Day 7. It has been a week of courage, and I honor my friend Cheri who is still fighting her battle. The chemo is finished, and the radiation is beginning. May God continue to give her strength to fight on. "Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture." (Psalm 37:3)
